Born in Armenia in 1950, Hamo has built an incredible legacy as both a professional painter and an architect-designer. His formal journey into the arts began at the prestigious Yerevan Art College after P. Terlemezyan (1964–1967), followed by graduating from the Faculty of Architecture at Yerevan Polytechnic Institute in 1974.
Hamo doesn’t just paint; he builds worlds. In his early career, he created captivating art pieces for various local businesses in Armenia. This creative momentum effortlessly transitioned into architectural triumphs, leading him to design homes, churches, and memorials. One of his crowning architectural achievements is co-designing the French Embassy in Yerevan alongside a brilliant group of architects in the 1990s.
